Aliso Beach Park is a genuine swimming and surfing beach with real tidepools at both ends, flanked by a string of smaller stairway accesses at Camel Point, West Street, and Table Rock that all reach the same general stretch of sand. It's one of the more complete beach parks in South Laguna, with actual facilities rather than just a stairway and a sign.

How we score beaches
Local Tip

If the main lot is full, the Camel Point and Table Rock stairways nearby reach the same beach with less competition for parking.

Parking

A fee lot serves the main park; additional on-street parking serves the smaller stairway accesses nearby.

Pets

Dogs on leash are allowed at Aliso Beach Park, but they are banned from the beach between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from June 15 to September 10.

Weather & the best time to visit

Orange County's water takes until late summer to really warm up, climbing into the low 70s by September.
