Back Shore Beach
Castine, ME
Back Shore Beach is a small public beach on Wadsworth Cove Road in Castine, with about 200 feet of smooth pebbly sand and a tidal pool behind it. The water is sheltered, so swimming is easier than on the open coast. There are no lifeguards, and Castine's village is a short drive away.
A sheltered, quiet public beach, but it is small and has no facilities.
