Bamber Lake Beach

Bamber Lake Beach is the smallest and least known of Lacey Township's freshwater beaches, tucked into the Bamber Lake section of the township away from the bay and barrier island crowds entirely. Proof of residency is required alongside the badge, which keeps it feeling more like a neighborhood pool than a public beach.
It does exactly what a small residential lake beach needs to do for the families who use it, but the residency requirement and small scale mean it's not somewhere an outside visitor could plan around.

As a small freshwater lake, the water warms quickly in late spring, comfortable well before the ocean beaches nearby catch up.
