Bayview Beach
Dennis, MA
Bayview Beach is a small, residents focused bay shore in Dennis just east of Mayflower Beach. The flats stretch out at low tide, and the view opens across Cape Cod Bay with few crowds to share it. Parking is limited to Dennis residents, which keeps the sand quiet even in July.
Quiet and calm with plenty of flats, but the resident only parking limits who can use it.
How we score beachesIf you are staying in Dennis, check whether your rental comes with a resident sticker. Walking over from Mayflower Beach at low tide can be an option, but respect private property.
The Bayview lot is restricted to Dennis residents with a beach sticker. Non residents should use nearby public beaches instead.
A short approach leads to the sand, which is soft and uneven. There is no boardwalk.
Water is warmest in July and August. Tide swings are large, so plan your beach time around the tide chart.
