Boneyard Beach
Big Talbot Island, FL
Another boneyard beach, this one just south of the Georgia line, where erosion has left a tangle of dead oak and cedar trunks along the sand at the base of low bluffs. It is a short walk in from the parking area, and locals rate the light here best in the late afternoon.
Footing among the fallen trunks can be uneven, so watch your step more than you would on open sand.
