Carmet Beach

Carmet Beach is a rocky stretch of Sonoma Coast State Park with real tide pools, quieter than the more visited beaches to the north. Marshall Gulch, a small pocket beach just around the point, adds a second, even smaller stop within the same short walk.
A genuinely quiet tide pool stop with an easy second stop at Marshall Gulch nearby, though the no-dogs rule and rocky shore keep it a niche visit rather than a family beach day.

A path leads from the parking area to the beach.
