Cold Storage Beach
Dennis, MA
Cold Storage Beach is on the east side of Sesuit Harbor in East Dennis, with harbor views on one side and open bay on the other. Restrooms and lifeguards are available in season, though there is no concession stand. It is a small beach that draws mostly East Dennis regulars.
Restrooms, lifeguards and harbor views make it easy, but the resident only lot keeps it a neighborhood spot.
How we score beachesPair it with a walk around Sesuit Harbor. The harbor is a working marina, so fresh seafood spots are nearby.
The lot is restricted to Dennis residents with a beach sticker. Non residents should use other town beaches.
The path from the lot to the sand is short. Sand is soft, and restrooms are on site.
Warmest water is late July through August. Evenings cool quickly after sunset, so bring a layer.
