Devil's Kitchen
Bandon, OR
Devil's Kitchen sits at the south end of Bandon's Beach Loop, a wayside with a cluster of sea stacks just offshore and a beach that connects north to Face Rock at low tide. It gets noticeably less foot traffic than Face Rock itself despite being part of the same continuous stretch of sand, simply because it's a few minutes farther from downtown.
The same dramatic rock formations as Face Rock with a fraction of the crowd, a genuinely good trade for anyone willing to park a few minutes farther out.
How we score beachesThis is a solid pick if Face Rock's lot is full. It's the same beach and rock formations a short walk south, usually with an easier parking situation.
Free lot at the Devil's Kitchen wayside on Beach Loop Road; not recommended for large RVs.
A short path and stairway lead from the lot to the beach.
Low tide during summer, June through September, gives the best connected walking north toward Face Rock and Coquille Point.
