Eastville Point Beach
Oak Bluffs, MA
Eastville Point Beach in Oak Bluffs sits on Beach Road just past the drawbridge, between Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. The shoreline is mostly sand and the water is calm, with views across Vineyard Haven Harbor. There are no restrooms. It suits a quick swim or a few casts from the shore.
Easy parking and calm water make it a reliable quick stop, but there are no restrooms and no surf to speak of.
How we score beachesBring what you need with you, since there are no restrooms on site. The Vineyard bus runs along this stretch of Beach Road, so you can skip the car.
Parking is on the Beach Road side near the drawbridge and is easy to find. Check current signage for rules.
The sand starts a short walk from the road. Expect soft sand at the water's edge, which is hard going for wheelchairs.
Sheltered harbor water warms faster than the open south shore, so July and August are the comfortable swim months. Shoulder seasons are quiet and good for fishing.
