Eisman's Beach
Swampscott, MA
Eisman's Beach, also called New Ocean House Beach, is on Puritan Road in Swampscott. A lifeguard covers it seven days a week from late June to mid August, 10 am to 4 pm. It is a sandy neighborhood beach close to Whales Beach.
A guarded neighborhood beach that is easy for families, but sticker parking is a real limit.
How we score beachesPark in the Phillips Park lot at 585 Humphrey Street and walk through. Lifeguards only work from late June to mid August, so go then for a staffed beach.
Use the Phillips Park lot at 585 Humphrey Street, with a Swampscott recreation sticker required.
A trail runs from the lot to Puritan Road and the beach.
Dogs are allowed October 1 to May 20 and must be leashed to the high water mark.
July and August are the busiest weeks. Shoulder season days are quiet, with no lifeguard.
