Emma Wood State Beach

Emma Wood State Beach offers day use and RV-only camping right at the mouth of the Ventura River, with a separate group camp on the west side for larger parties. It marks the northern edge of the city of Ventura's beaches, a good last stop before Highway 101 curves inland.
The river mouth setting and genuine RV camping access make it a solid stop marking the edge of Ventura, though tent campers will need to look elsewhere.
