Fisk Mill Cove
Jenner, CA

Fisk Mill Cove is a smaller, less crowded corner of Salt Point State Park, with stairs and a bluff top trail leading down to the rocky shore. Sentinel Rock, a large offshore formation, dominates the view here more than at the park's other named coves.
A genuinely quieter corner of Salt Point with a real offshore landmark in Sentinel Rock, though it's a smaller stop than the park's main areas.
How we score beachesWalk the short bluff top trail before heading down the stairs, the view of Sentinel Rock from above is worth the extra few minutes.
Free parking is available at the cove.
Stairs and a bluff top trail lead down to the rocky shore.
Dogs are allowed on leash in Salt Point State Park's parking and picnic areas, but are not allowed on the trail down to the cove or on the beach itself.
Summer mornings run foggy before clearing, typical of the Sonoma coast, with water staying cold year round.
