Glass Beach

Glass Beach sits behind an old industrial site near Port Allen, where decades of discarded bottles have tumbled into countless pieces of sea glass that now make up a good share of the sand itself. It's less a swimming beach than a scavenger hunt, one that draws collectors willing to look past the rougher, less scenic setting.
A genuinely unusual find for glass collectors, but the industrial backdrop and rocky, unswimmable shoreline mean it's a novelty stop rather than a real beach day.

A dirt pullout near the old industrial road off Aka Ula Street holds a handful of cars, unmarked and easy to miss on a first visit.
