Goodie's Beach
Rockport, ME
Goodie's Beach is a small sand beach in Rockport Marine Park, beside the Harbormaster. It is monitored by Maine Healthy Beaches, and it largely disappears at high tide, so timing matters. The park sits on the working harbor, with boats coming and going and Rockport's village a short walk away.
A pleasant harbor beach, but it is small and mostly gone at high tide.
How we score beachesCheck the tide before you go, since the beach mostly disappears at high water. Stay for the harbor views afterward.
Limited parking near the marine park. Check posted signs.
A short walk from the park to the sand.
Summer is the best time, though the water is cold. Fall is calm and clear.
