Hidden Beach
Incline Village, NV
Hidden Beach is about 750 feet of sand and rocky alcoves on Lake Tahoe's East Shore, roughly a mile south of Incline Village. The Tahoe East Shore Trail runs right past it, so it's an easy walk or bike ride from town. Granite boulders break the shore into little private spots.
Rocky alcoves and easy trail access from town make it a local favorite, but parking along the highway is almost nonexistent.
How we score beachesSkip the highway parking and walk or bike from Incline on the East Shore Trail. It's flat, paved, and faster than circling for a spot.
Limited parking along Highway 28; donations are encouraged. Most people come on foot or bike from Incline Village.
Short dirt trails connect the highway and the East Shore Trail to the sand; there's a vault toilet.
Summer is best, with the East Shore Trail busy with bikes by late morning. Fall brings cooler water but calm, empty days.
