Horseneck Beach

A long, dune backed beach at the mouth of the Westport River that locals prefer over the more famous Cape beaches because you can actually find parking. The surf here has enough of a punch to draw a small but loyal group of local surfers on the right swell.
The state park lot fills by late morning in season, but approaching from the town side can help you avoid the fee.
