Illahee State Park
Bremerton, WA
Illahee State Park is a forested, 75 to 82 acre marine park on Port Orchard Bay with 1,785 feet of shell strewn beach, a dock for launching small watercraft, and year round camping. It's more of a beachcombing and crabbing spot than a swim beach, with oyster harvesting in season for those who know the rules.
Real, documented, and solid for crabbing and beachcombing, though it isn't set up as a swim destination the way some nearby parks are.
How we score beachesThis is a crabbing and beachcombing beach more than a swim spot; come with that expectation rather than looking for a designated swim area.
A Discover Pass is required.
