Juanita Beach Park
Kirkland, WA
Juanita Beach Park is a 22-acre Lake Washington waterfront park with a sand beach, a bathhouse, sand volleyball courts, and a seasonal guarded swim area, one of Kirkland's three lifeguarded beaches. Kids 13 and under need to pass a swim test before heading into the deep area, a rule worth knowing ahead of a visit.
Real, well documented, and distinctive for its volleyball courts, a solid family beach with genuine lifeguard coverage in season.
How we score beachesGuards don't work below 65 degree water temperature or in bad weather, so a chilly early or late season day might mean an unguarded swim area even during posted hours.
The 2025 guarded season ran July 1 through September 7.
