Kalama Park

Kalama Park anchors the middle of Kihei's beach strip with a huge grassy field that hosts everything from soccer practice to weekend farmers markets, the sand itself a secondary attraction to the park behind it. It's less about swimming here and more about the scene: skate park, tennis courts, and enough shade trees to make it Kihei's default gathering spot.
The park itself is a genuine community hub locals use constantly, but as a swimming beach the sand is thin and rocky compared to Kihei's better stretches just south.

Parking: Limited street parking along South Kihei Road near Kaiau Place, no dedicated lot.
Local tip: This is the better swimming sand in the immediate area. Walk south from Kalama Park's lawn to find it.
