La Piedra State Beach is one of three neighboring state beaches along this stretch of Malibu, El Pescador and El Matador the other two, all reached by a trail down from blufftop parking. Each has a slightly different character despite the shared coastline, this one generally a bit quieter than its more photographed neighbor.
