Lantana Municipal Beach
Lantana, FL

Lantana Municipal Beach is the public sand serving both Lantana and neighboring Manalapan, a town with no public beach of its own. It's a straightforward town beach with swimming, paddleboarding, and volleyball rather than a landmark destination.
It fills a real gap as the only public beach for two towns, though the no pets rule and metered parking keep it a plain, functional stop rather than a special one.
How we score beachesManalapan residents and visitors headed that way should know this is their nearest public beach, Manalapan itself has none. Pay for metered parking through the ParkMobile app to skip hunting for coins.
Metered parking runs about 2 dollars an hour, payable through the ParkMobile app.
The beach is a short, flat walk from metered parking along the road.
Dogs aren't allowed at Lantana Municipal Beach.
Winter and spring bring South Florida's driest, mildest weather and the biggest snowbird crowds. Summer's heat and hurricane season, June through November, thin things out despite the warmest water of the year.
