Lincolnville Beach
Lincolnville, ME
Lincolnville Beach is a half mile of sand beside the Route 1 village and the Islesboro ferry landing. The beach looks across Penobscot Bay, and the village sits right behind it. It is one of the few easy sand beaches near Camden, which keeps it busy in summer.
Convenient and scenic beside the ferry, but small and busy in peak season.
How we score beachesWatch the ferry come and go while you sit on the sand. Arrive early, since the lots near the landing fill quickly.
Small lots and roadside parking serve the beach and fill on summer weekends. Check signs for fees.
A short walk from the road to the sand. Footing is uneven in places.
Summer is the busy season and the water stays cold. Fall brings clear bay views and fewer people.
