Loch Arbour is the smallest municipality on the Jersey Shore, barely a few blocks wide, and its beach matches that scale: a short, quiet stretch wedged between Allenhurst and Asbury Park with none of either neighbor's crowds. The Village Beach Gatehouse handles badge sales for what amounts to a private feeling public beach.
Quiet almost by accident, given how small the town is, though there's genuinely nothing here beyond the beach itself, no boardwalk, no real commercial strip.

Water temperatures track the rest of central Monmouth County, into the low to mid 70s by August. Being sandwiched between two larger towns means it rarely feels the full brunt of a crowded summer weekend the way its neighbors do.
