Madison Park Beach
Seattle, WA
Madison Park Beach is a compact, roughly 400 foot stretch of sand and grass on Lake Washington, with a bathhouse, a swimming raft with a diving board, and lifeguards through the summer. It sits flanked by a walkable strip of shops, giving it more of a neighborhood beach club feel than most of the city's other swim beaches.
A real neighborhood beach with genuine charm and a walkable shopping block right there, small but well loved.
How we score beachesLoaner life jackets and swim lessons are available through the lifeguard program, worth knowing if kids are along and swim confidence is a question.
The 2025 season ran June 21 through September 1; confirm current dates each year.
