Manchester State Park
Manchester, WA
Manchester State Park is a 111-acre former fort site on Rich Passage with 3,400 feet of Puget Sound shoreline and a swimming beach on the northern side, no lifeguard, so tides and currents are worth watching. It's a modest, lesser known stop compared to Fay Bainbridge or Fort Ward, open year round.
Real and confirmable, a modest, lesser known Kitsap beach that locals use without much fanfare compared to the peninsula's bigger names.
How we score beachesWatch the current, especially on the Rich Passage side, since there's no lifeguard here and conditions can shift with the tide.
A Discover Pass is required.
