Mantoloking Beach
Mantoloking, NJ
A narrow, residential stretch of the Jersey Shore where the houses outnumber the boardwalk stands and the town keeps parking limited on purpose. It rebuilt slowly after Sandy tore through the barrier island, and the sand here still feels quieter than its louder neighbors down the coast.
Public parking is extremely limited here. Most visitors arrive on foot or by bike from a nearby town beach instead.
