Meaford Memorial Park

Meaford Memorial Park is one of the few waterfront campgrounds in Ontario, with about 470 metres of Georgian Bay shoreline in the town of Meaford. The beach is small pebbles at the edge that turn to sand a few metres out. RV sites sit right on the water, tent sites are up the hill, and part of the beach is set aside for dogs.

Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer has roughly three miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and some of the tallest dunes in southwest Michigan. Tower Hill rises about 260 feet above the lake, and climbing it and running back down is a rite of passage. On a hot July Saturday the beach feels like a small city.
