Millerton Point

Millerton Point is a Tomales Bay State Park unit built more around trails and bay views than a single beach, a quieter stop than the park's main developed areas further north. Wetland habitat along the shore adds some real birding variety to the walk.

A path leads from the trailhead through the point's trails to the shoreline.
Leashed dogs are allowed on the Millerton Point loop trail, but not on the beach itself.
Tomales Bay stays noticeably calmer than the open ocean nearby, with fall and winter bringing the most birdlife.
