Morro Strand State Beach runs for miles between Cayucos and Morro Bay, with numerous access points, a 24th Street exit off Highway 1, a campground, and stretches near Torro Creek and Atascadero Creek, all reaching the same long, wide beach with Morro Rock visible to the south. It's one of the longer continuous beaches on the Central Coast.

The sheer length and multiple access points make it a genuinely versatile long beach, with Morro Rock's dramatic silhouette visible for much of the walk south.
