Noyo Harbor sits at the mouth of the Noyo River just south of downtown Fort Bragg, a working commercial fishing harbor with restaurants lined up along the south bank. It's less a beach than a place to watch boats come and go and eat fresh seafood, a different kind of coastal stop than the parks and beaches around it.

Locals Score🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥

A genuinely working harbor with real seafood and boat traffic to watch, though it's a commercial stop rather than a beach and the parking is tight on busy days.

How we score beaches
Local Tip

Come around late afternoon if you want to see the fishing fleet coming back in, the harbor is at its most active then.

Parking

Free parking is available near the harbor, though it's limited and fills on weekends.

Accessibility

The harbor is reached directly from parking along the south bank; expect a working waterfront rather than a groomed path.

Pets

Dogs are allowed off leash year round at Noyo Beach, the area's designated off leash dog beach at Noyo Harbor.

Weather & the best time to visit

Summer mornings run foggy before clearing, typical of the Mendocino coast, with water staying cold year round.
