Pacifica Pier anchors the town's central waterfront, a dark sand beach with a fishing pier and cafe right along the Beachfront Path that runs the length of town. It's the easiest, most developed beach stop in Pacifica, a good base if you want food and facilities close by.
The pier, cafe, and connecting path make it a genuinely easy, well rounded stop, though the dark sand and busy central location mean it lacks the wilder character of Pacifica's other beaches.
