Parsons Beach

Kennebunk, ME

UncrowdedScenic

Parsons Beach in Kennebunk is about half a mile of sand backed by dunes and marsh. It sits on Parsons family land, and the public is welcome on one section, the left side as you face the water. That courtesy is the whole deal, so the rules matter here more than anywhere nearby.

Half a mile of quiet, undeveloped sand is a real find, though it depends on private goodwill and parking is only a handful of spaces.
