Playa San Pedrito, also called Playa Pescadero, is a Pacific beach about 15 minutes south of Todos Santos in Baja California Sur, Mexico, reached by a path through a palm grove beside a freshwater lagoon. It is known for surf over a rocky bottom, with Amaya Bar and Grill at the north end and Kahal restaurant mid beach.

A strong surf beach with a lagoon and a few good places to eat, though the rocky bottom and currents are hard on beginners.

How we score beaches
Local Tip

Treat the break as intermediate to advanced, since rocks sit close to shore. Do not drive on the sand, because turtles nest there.

Parking

Park off the access road and walk the palm grove path to the sand. Overnight rules are contested, so check current signage before camping.

Accessibility

A path leads through a palm grove to soft sand. The footing is uneven, and rocks line the shore.

Weather & the best time to visit

Pacific swell is strongest in summer and fall, and the water is cooler than on the Sea of Cortez side. Hurricane season runs roughly June through November.
