Point of Rocks Beach
Brewster, MA
Point of Rocks Beach is a scenic little Brewster landing on Cape Cod Bay, named for the stones scattered along the shoreline. Only about four parking spaces serve it, so it stays close to private. Sunsets here are a local favorite, and low tide reveals the same wide flats that define this stretch of Brewster.
A private feeling bay landing with great sunsets, but four parking spaces make it easy to miss out.
How we score beachesWith only a handful of spaces, come at off peak times, like an early evening for sunset. Walk or bike if you are staying nearby.
A Brewster beach permit is required from mid June through the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The lot holds only about four cars.
The lot sits close to the shore, and the beach is soft sand and stones. There are no lifeguards.
Dogs are prohibited from mid May to mid September.
Summer is warmest, and evenings are best for sunset. In fall the landing is nearly empty.
