Richmond Beach Saltwater Park
Shoreline, WA
Richmond Beach Saltwater Park is a 32-acre Puget Sound park with a mix of sandy, pebbly, and rocky L-shaped shoreline, driftwood, and tide pools at low tide, plus a mile-long shoreline walk and a fishing pier. Winter orca sightings have been reported here, and swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding are all allowed, just without a lifeguard.
Genuinely distinctive with real tide pools and a shot at winter orca sightings, well documented and well loved without the crowds of a Seattle beach.
