Robert LaSalle County Park
Sturgeon Bay, WI
Robert LaSalle County Park is an eight acre Door County park on Lake Michigan south of Sturgeon Bay, named for the French explorer who is said to have landed nearby in the 1600s. It has a playground, a picnic area, and access down to a quiet stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline. It's one of the southernmost beach spots in Door County.
A peaceful, uncrowded county park with some history, though the beach is small.
How we score beachesIt's a quiet picnic-and-wade stop when the northern Door beaches are packed.
