Samoa Beach gives the small company town of Samoa its own straightforward beach access, a paved lot and a short path onto the sand without the longer dune walk that Ma-le'l Dunes requires just up the spit. It's a good option if you want the ocean without committing to a hike first.
The easy paved access is a real advantage over its neighbors on the spit, though the beach itself doesn't have much to distinguish it beyond that convenience.
How we score beachesThis is one of the easier beach accesses on the North Spit if you're short on time or mobility, most of the alternatives nearby involve a longer walk through sand or dunes.
