Sandy River Beach

Jonesport, ME

UncrowdedScenic

Sandy River Beach is a quarter mile of white sand at the mouth of the Sandy River on Chandler Bay in Jonesport. The town owns only a fifty foot right of way, and the rest is open by landowner permission, so treat it with care. A sandbar leads to Bar Island at low tide.
