Scenic Beach State Park
Seabeck, WA
Scenic Beach State Park is a 121-acre camping park about eight miles west of Silverdale, 1,500 feet of Hood Canal beachfront with a view across the water to the Olympics. Wild native rhododendrons bloom here in spring, and the restored 1912 Emel House has become a popular wedding venue.
Genuinely distinctive for the rhododendrons and the historic house, a real Hood Canal favorite for both camping and weddings alike.
How we score beachesCheck the current WDFW shellfish safety map before planning a clamming trip; Hood Canal has had biotoxin closures, so treat harvest activities as seasonal rather than guaranteed.
A Discover Pass is required; the beach is about a ten minute walk from most campsites.
