Sculptured Beach earns its name from wave-carved sandstone formations along the shore, reached by a genuine hike from Bear Valley or other points within Point Reyes National Seashore. There's no direct parking lot here, which keeps it one of the quieter named beaches in the park.
The genuinely unusual sandstone formations reward the hike in, though the lack of direct access keeps this off the list for anyone not up for a real walk.
