Seacliff State Beach centers on a pier leading out to the Cement Ship, a decommissioned World War I era concrete tanker deliberately sunk here and now a genuine local landmark slowly crumbling into the surf. Pier fishing draws a regular crowd alongside anyone just out for a walk to see the wreck.

The Cement Ship is a genuinely unique landmark you won't find at any other California beach, real history that's slowly dissolving in front of you.
