Seascape Beach is reached through the middle of the Seascape Resort, a paved path connecting the development straight to the sand, or a dirt path further north off Sumner Avenue for a more low key approach. Seascape County Park nearby adds play equipment and a blufftop path of its own into the same stretch of beach.
The resort access makes it genuinely easy, though walking through private development to reach a public beach won't appeal to everyone.
How we score beachesUse the dirt path off Sumner Avenue if you'd rather avoid walking through the resort itself, it reaches the same beach from the north end.
Free parking is available near the resort and county park.
