Seaside Lagoon is a heated saltwater swimming lagoon built right into Redondo Beach's harbor, sand-bottomed and sheltered from any surf or current. It's a genuinely different kind of swim than the open ocean a few hundred feet away, and a longtime favorite for families with younger kids.
A genuinely useful alternative when the ocean is too cold or rough for young kids, though the entry fee and seasonal hours are worth checking ahead.
