San Juan Island, WA

ScenicHistoricUncrowded

South Beach is the longest public beach in the San Juan Islands, a cobble, gravel, and sand mix facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca inside San Juan Island National Historical Park's American Camp unit. Views stretch to the Olympic Mountains, and nesting bald eagles and offshore orcas are a regular sight.
