Torrance County Beach

Torrance, CA

SurfingFamily-friendly

Torrance County Beach is a straightforward swimming and surfing beach at the south end of the Redondo Beach waterfront, quieter than the harbor scene to the north. The stretch just south of here, toward the Palos Verdes line, is the part locals call RAT Beach, a separate entry on its own for the surf and paddling crowd.

A solid, uncomplicated South Bay beach day, it just sits in the shadow of the more distinct spot immediately south.
