Triton Cove State Park
Brinnon, WA
Triton Cove State Park is a small, 29-acre day-use park six miles south of Brinnon with 555 feet of Hood Canal shoreline, primarily a boat launch and fishing and diving gateway rather than a swim beach. An ADA boat launch and a seasonal dock are the main draw, with picnic tables and a vault toilet the only shore amenities.
A real public shoreline, but access and purpose skew heavily toward boating and diving rather than a typical beach day.
How we score beachesCome here for the boat launch and shore fishing rather than expecting a developed swim beach; the shoreline and picnic use are real but secondary to the launch.
A $7 daily launch permit applies at the boat launch.
