Wailupe Beach Park

Wailupe Beach Park sits on a man made peninsula in Āina Haina, built up in the 1930s from dredging spoil, with restrooms and a boat ramp but a shallow, murky bottom that keeps most swimmers away. Surfers use it mainly to paddle out to a handful of offshore breaks with names like Kim's and Suicides.
Genuinely useful for surf access and picnics with real restrooms on site, but the shallow, rocky bottom makes it one of the worst swimming beaches on this stretch of coast.

A free lot sits right off Kalanianaole Highway with easy roadside access, and it almost never fills.
Flat, paved paths lead from the lot to the shoreline, though the entry into the water is over rock and silt rather than sand.
Water stays murky regardless of season. Wind direction affects clarity more than the time of year does.
