Walk-On Beach
The Sea Ranch, CA

Walk-On Beach is one of several named trails through The Sea Ranch's gated blufftop community, connecting to the wider Sea Ranch Blufftop Trail on either side. The trail itself does most of the scenic work here, open bluff views before a final drop to the sand.
A solid connector beach on the Sea Ranch trail network, though it doesn't stand out as much as some of the other named accesses nearby.
How we score beachesCombine this with the Blufftop Trail if you have the time, walking between the named Sea Ranch beach accesses is a good way to see more coastline in one outing.
Free parking is available at the trailhead.
Blufftop trails lead from parking down to the beach.
Dogs are welcome; check posted signage for specific leash rules.
Summer mornings run foggy before clearing, typical of the Sonoma coast, with water staying cold year round.
