York Harbor Beach
York, ME
York Harbor Beach is a small town beach in York Harbor village, on the Stage Neck side of the harbor. It is a short, sheltered stretch of sand within walking distance of the village, which makes it an easy stop for a quick swim or a picnic rather than a full beach day.
A convenient, sheltered village beach, but small and tight on parking in summer.
How we score beachesCome at mid tide, when the beach is at its widest. Combine it with a walk through the village.
Village parking is limited, and rules apply in season. Read the posted signs.
A short walk from village streets to the sand.
Summer is the warmest, though the water stays cold. Early fall is calm and clear.
