Beach Front Pavilion & Park

Beach Front Pavilion and Park gives Seadrift its one real public spot to get in the water, a set of wooden stairs down into San Antonio Bay next to a fishing pier and a covered pavilion. It's bay swimming off a small platform rather than a sandy beach walk in, but it's free and it's the only formal public swimming access this fishing town has.
It's genuinely the only public swimming spot in a small fishing town, which counts for something locally, but stairs into the bay is a modest setup compared to an actual beach.

Parking is free at the park.

Summer is the season for the swim, with fall bringing better fishing off the adjacent pier. Hurricane season runs June through November.
